I first stumbled upon the Happy Planner craze not even two months ago and I was instantly hooked. You can read all about why I consider the Happy Planner to be life-changing tool here. Ever since, I have been researching, adapting, shopping (a LOT), and making the system work for me. While I will probably ALWAYS be adding things and tweaking them (cause that’s how I roll), I have temporarily acheived planner peace! Stay tuned and find out how and why I am using four seperate planners to keep various areas of my daily life organized.

For the sake of attempting to be concise, I am splitting this post into two parts. Part 1 (this post) will be all about my two most used planners – my blog planner and my everyday/catchall planner.
My Classic “everyday” Happy Planner

I started out with one big happy planner, but after trying to lug that puppy around with me a few times, I quickly realized I needed something more compact. Something that didn’t add a good three pounds to my already loaded diaper bag. So I decided to order the Supermom planner from the Happy Planner Girl line. However, that planner was dated for Jan-Dec 2019. So OF COURSE I had to also get my hands on the dashboard expansion pack so I could start using her right away!
As a sidenote – I absolutely LOVE this inspiration card!! It says, “If you think my hands are full you should see my heart”. Of course I laminated it because it’s perfect for this momm of many!
In addition to the dashboard pages, I have also added a wellness extension (which I am attempting to use as a personal development section), a budget extension, and of course the GORGEOUS new Christmas extension!!

I also have a few of each kind of my classic full sized notes pages and two sticky notes pads in the very back. Yes ladies, she’s a chunky planner – I have zero regrets!! Obviously extender rings were needed.
My Big blog/business Happy Planner…

She’s got guts from a big vertical Happy Planner, pieces of the big No Drama Llama monthly, and printables from an amazing blog planner I found on Etsy from Easy Printables Shop. (If you’re looking for something like this you can find it HERE.)

I am also using a divider in this planner to keep track of several blogging/business courses I am enrolled in and working through. I have daily assignments and notes from each lesson inside that section so I can easily refer back to the material as needed.
This planner is not quite as chunky as my everyday classic Happy Planner, but she’s still too thick for regular rings. She is temporarily on hot pink metal expander rings, but these were actually purchased for my classic. So I need to get another gold set to put this on eventually.
Stay tuned for Part Two of this post in a few days, where I will share how I have frankenplanned a memory keeper and a big horizontal for journaling my days and scrapbooking all the fun things going on in my family. I will also show you how I have been using a Big Teacher Happy Planner to homeschool lesson plan for three different kiddos!
